Who the controller is
JSB Voice Inc. is a Hollymath brand. Hollymath is the controller of your data, requests go to hello@hollymath.com, and a person answers them.
What is stored
Your login email and a password kept only in hashed form, so nobody here can read it. What you own (purchases and gifts), your course progress, and anything you create in your own space: bookmarks, notes, highlights, saved posts, favorites, questions you ask, your profile name and picture, and your marketing email choice per brand.
What is deliberately not stored
Your card and payment details never touch this site. Checkout, tax, receipts, and recurring billing are handled by Stripe, and your payment data stays with them.
The basis for each group
Your account and your purchases are held under the contract between you and the brand you bought from: delivering what you bought needs the record. Marketing email and analytics cookies run only on your consent, withdrawable anytime. The admin audit trail and the security logs that keep the platform safe are held under legitimate interests, and you can object to that at the contact above.
Who receives data
Supabase (the database, sign-in and files) in Oregon, United States; Netlify, which serves this site; UseInbox, which sends every email the platform sends; and Stripe, for every payment, as a separate controller for the payment itself.
The transfer to the United States
Supabase, Netlify, UseInbox and Stripe all run in the United States, so your data crosses the UK and EU border to reach them. Each transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses or an equivalent recognized safeguard with that provider.
The cookies
The sign-in cookie (named sb-*-auth-token) keeps you signed in and is strictly necessary, so it is always on. The hm-consent cookie remembers your choice on the banner below for a year. If you accept, two more first-party cookies (hm_aid for a year, hm_sid for half an hour) join up your visits for analytics; decline and neither is ever set. hm-a11y, an accessibility setting, lives only in your own browser and never reaches this site.
How long each group is kept
Your account and its data are kept for as long as your account exists. Anonymous analytics rows are kept 14 months. The admin audit trail is kept 3 years, and the record that an erasure ran is kept 6 years.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data held about you, have it corrected, download a portable copy, erase your account and its data, object to how it is used, ask that it be restricted, and withdraw consent anytime. See it and correct it on your account page; download it at /account/export; erase your account at /account/delete; manage marketing consent at /email-preferences.
The right to complain
You can complain to hello@hollymath.com first, or go straight to the regulator: the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, or your own data protection authority if you are in the EU.
